Product Description - Strongest during sprints and on inclines The Shimano WH-RS710-C32-TL is a road bike wheelset on 105 level with 32 mm full carbon rims for sprints and climbs. It combines Dura-Ace and Ultegra wheel technologies with a sleek design to allow for aerodynamics, a light weight and enough stiffness at an affordable price. The WH-RS710 has E-Thru thru-axle hubs with low-maintenance conical bearings for Center Lock brake rotors as well as a steel pawl freehub, which is compatible not only with 12-speed but also with conventional Shimano 11-speed road cassettes. The rims feature the wind tunnel-tested D2 design and have an inner width of 21 mm, so you can ride tyres up to 32 mm wide - and of course also as tubeless tyres. The wheelset is equipped with 24 double-butted bladed spokes with aluminium nipples at the front and rear. Extensive studies in the wind tunnel and on the road have shown that a wide rim profile with a deep rim well and flow angles of 0 to 15 degrees reduce drag the most.
