Product Description Shimano Type C2 Bolt for BR-R8170 and BR-R7170 Flat Mount Rear Brake Calipers The Shimano Flat Mount type C2 rear bolt is used to attach the Ultegra BR-R8170 and 105 BR-R7170 brake caliper to the frame. A type C bolt must also be used. Depending on the brake rotor size and frame type, the brake caliper is either attached directly to the chainstay or via an adapter. The bolt is available in different lengths for frame diameters from 10 to 35 mm. Tighten them firmly with a 4 mm hex tool 6 to 8 Nm.
