Product Description The Shimano SLX SL-M7000-11-B-I Shifters - I-Spec and other technologies The Shimano SLX SL-M7000-11-B-I shifter set with I-Spec (B) construction impresses with flexible positioning of the shifters and space-saving integrated mounting on compatible brake levers. This makes for a tidy cockpit and allows for more flexibility. The set consists of a 2/3-speed shifter for the left and an 11-speed shifter for the right, which stand for stable shifting, ergonomic design and minimal operating forces. This is made possible by the proven Rapidfire Plus technology, which allows up to three gear steps to be downshifted in one shift stroke, as well as the 2-Way Release function, i.e. operating the release lever by pulling it with the index finger or pressing it with the thumb. The supplied shift cables have been provided with the friction-reducing Optislick coating. Two levers, the main lever and the release lever, are used instead of a twist shifter. Rapidfire Plus shift levers, as the name suggests, ensure fast shifting. In addition, depending on the model, it is possible to downshift up to three gears with one shift stroke. 2-Way-Release With 2-Way-Release, the shifter can be pressed and pulled to shift to the smaller sprocket or chainring. This allows you to adjust the shifting process to your personal preferences. Most Rapidfire Plus shifters are equipped with 2-Way Release. I-Spec I-Spec enables the connection between the brake lever and shift lever on MTB derailleurs from Shimano. For handlebar grip diameters from 32 to 36 mm, there is no possibility to combine the I-Spec B shifter with older I-Spec brake grips.
