Virbac Epi-otter Fat-free ear cleaner

Epi-otic is a non-irritating, drying ear cleaner with disinfecting properties based on lactic acid and salicylic acid in bruted (spherulite) and in free form and contains chitosanide and sodium docusion. It is excellent to extinguish and remove excessive earwax and inflammatory material in the external ear canal in dogs and cats.

Lactic acid has disinfecting properties (pH reduction). Salicylic acid is keratolytically effective (horny layer conferred) and therefore inflammatory and jeukremende. It has an injidgeing effect. Spherulites are micro-balls built up in layers that ensure a delayed release of active substances and therefore a long-term efficacy. Chitosanide is a degradable biopolymer that adheres to the skin and hair with spherulates and has a moisture -regulating effect. Sodium docusion is surface voltage -lowering, which obtains a strong improvement of the penetrating capacity of the liquid.
