Challenging card game with relatively simple rules. Your hand cards are both buildings and payment. Each round you build 1 building (and sometimes 2 buildings) from your hand and you pay the costs in other hand cards. Each building provides income in the form of maps and/or points. Slowly but surely a city is created for you. Many buildings influence each other or are a condition for building other buildings. This creates interesting options and chain reactions. Anyone who has scored the most points with his buildings at the end of the game is the winner. Metropolis takes only 20 minutes and is therefore ideal for in between.
